What exactly does a Social Media Manager do?

Are you struggling with the nine to five?
Do you get the Monday blues?

What if you didn’t have to worry about the nine to five or have to dread Mondays?

Setting up your own time and your own schedule is easier than you realize. You can work anytime you want and take the time you need to be there for your family. This is something that I have always dreamed about and now it is right at the tip of my fingers. This can be right around the corner for you also.

Managing social media and becoming a virtual assistant can be that perfect job for you. You can make this your reality. There are so many levels and roles to being a virtual assistant. You can manage appointments, make calls and respond to emails for your clients. You can manage Facebook and Instagram accounts with editing photos and creating content. You can create a Pinterest business profile where you can translate your content into pins that will drive traffic to your business. The possibilities are endless for what a virtual assistant business can look like for you.

Some of the areas of virtual assisting that I do for my clients are the following.

Facebook:

There are key times to get things posted to Facebook. There are prime traffic times where people are always online. You also want to post multiple times a day. There are algorithms that will help increase the visual value of your company on social media. If you skip a day or a post on Facebook it is like losing months worth of traffic for your business.

Instagram:

As well as Facebook there are key times and key proponents to when and how to post your business on Instagram. There are key times to post and you need to post multiple times. The thing that stands out in the Instagram world of business is your filters, feed and hashtags. You want a filter or layout for your feed that speaks to your brand. You also want to make sure that you have hashtags that get you noticed. Hashtags are the way to get your posts seen. You need to use hashtags that relate to your business, that will draw in your top clients. This is huge in the world of Instagram.

Pinterest:

This is a platform that is so untapped and so important. This is a great way to get your business out there and noticed. You want weekly content that gets you in the top searches for Pinterest. You want your boards to be neat and clean. You want the boards to be purposeful and show what you do. When your clients start searching Pinterest they need to see your information at the top of the search. Using descriptive titles and board descriptions are huge. Pins need to be marked and covered with your brand and your content as well as detailed descriptions.

This is something that you can do but if you feel like these are services you need. I can provide services of managing your Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest business page so that you can get the marketing you need without adding one more thing to your plate.
