Are you searching the internet looking for the top virtual assistant tools to help run your business?

If so, stay awhile and keep reading, because in this post I will be sharing with you my top 5 tools that you can start using in your business right away.

If you haven’t met me yet, my name is Kaitlyn Batten and I am a Pinterest Strategist and Social Media Manager. I’ve helped many business owners streamline their business operations through multiple social media channels. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to test out quite a few different business tools and I’m so excited to share with you the best tools for your business.

So let's get started..

HoneyBook

HoneyBook isn’t just a financial tool, It is a tool that is pretty much an all in one processing system. It has a built in workflow with a step by step guide on what to do with each client, it has a bookkeeping feature where you could link to quickbooks and keep your financial reports in order, it has a client portal where you can book clients, send invoices and payment reminders, manage multiple projects with its task management and project stages feature, showing you how far along you are in your project and what needs to get done plus there are many templates that you can create to streamline your business.

Tailwind

Tailwind is the ultimate tool for Pinterest scheduling. If you have a client that wants to up their Pinterest game or if you are trying to market your business using Pinterest, Tailwind can help.

Tailwind allows you to schedule and post pins during optimal times on Pinterest to increase engagement and increase your visibility.

Tailwind has a community feature where you can collaborate with other amazing creators. You can join different groups that are relevant to your business or what products you offer. You can pin your content, view other creator’s content, share each other's pins and in turn will boost each other’s view.

Canva

Canva is a free and easy graphic design tool. It’s user-friendly and is super easy to learn how to use, even if you aren’t tech-savvy. They have tutorials to help you on your way and they offer a lot of free resources to help create your graphics, using free stock photos. You can also upload your own photos.

With Canva, you can create Logos, business cards, Pin covers, Instagram posts and stories, YouTube thumbnails, Ebook covers and so much more.

Canva is amazing for a Virtual Assistant and small business owner. They also offer a paid option and it allows you to create GIFs, transparent images, and even logos. So if you have clients who need these services, or if you want to create digital items for yourself to market your services, you can’t go wrong with Canva!

Grammarly

Grammarly, is a free “grammar assistant” that checks for typos, grammatical errors, and more and they offer this tool through a Chrome extension and an app.

As a business owner, proper spelling and grammar is important. You need to sound professional, approachable, and smart. Some of the great functions that Grammarly can help you with is vocabulary enhancement, punctuations and sentence structure and plagiarism. Grammarly has a Free version, paid version and a business version. If you are just starting out, use the free version.

Support System

This is technically not a tool but I have learned that a great support group can make a world of a difference and can help you go far. I’ve been very blessed with the friendships I’ve formed both in my personal life and within the virtual space. If you don’t have a personal support group, reach out and connect with others in the online sector and network with like minded people who share the same business interest as you, are in the same style of business as you and of course connect with people who are where you want to be.

As with any business, entrepreneurship can fluctuate and it could feel lonely at times, especially if your work is mainly based online. In order for growth, you have to step outside of your comfort zone, network and connect with others. There are so many beautiful people in this world and I am thankful to those who have supported me and my business over the years and I am hopeful that you will find your tribe too.

In summary, if you are looking for some great tools for yourself or for your clients, these are some of the ones I’d recommend!
