What are prime times?
Morning, lunch, and evening
You can play around with the exact time but just think about meal times.
Focus your posts for those times of the day where most people are picking up their phones
Track your analytics to see if you need to tweak those times a little bit
Share 80% personal/informational and 20% promotional
WHY personal? People want to see who you are and what you care about. People want to connect to the person behind the business.
Don’t be afraid to share about yourself and your business for 80% of your posts
Only 20% is promotional meaning that is when you are pushing your business BIG TIME
Be clear and to the point with your wording (many people are scrolling and skimming their feed- you want to grab their attention quickly)
Captions and wording is HUGE
People are scrollers; they are not stopping to read long posts, so make your point quickly and in a way that grabs their attention.
Hashtags: use branded hashtags but then popular and trending tags for your business. This is how you are "found" in the social media world.
This is something that MANY people neglect because they don’t see the value in hashtags.
