Let me ask you this? Have you used or considered using Facebook for your business? In today’s business world, social media is a prime place to book clients and share about what your business offers. 

Sometimes we miss this prime market because we think we don’t need it. But let’s face it, there is no escaping the marketing world concerning social media. This is a platform and place that is continuously growing and expanding. This is the time to jump on the trend and get your business out there. When people give reviews, share products, or tag you in their posts; think of the advertisement you are getting in those posts. Your network and market will expand as you grow your platform.  

I am going to share FIVE simple tips to use for your marketing strategy on Facebook. 

  • Make a plan for what you will post

    • Whatever format works for you - go with it. 

    • Have a calendar or google doc where you could plan out what you want to talk about on your page.  

    • Share sales for the month

    • Customer reviews

    • Giveaways and more

  • Post every day, 3 times a day at prime times

    • What are prime times? 

      • Morning, lunch, and evening

      • You can play around with the exact time but just think about meal times.

      • Focus your posts for those times of the day where most people are picking up their phones

      • Track your analytics to see if you need to tweak those times a little bit

  • Share 80% personal/informational and 20% promotional

    • WHY personal? People want to see who you are and what you care about. People want to connect to the person behind the business.

    • Don’t be afraid to share about yourself and your business for 80% of your posts

    • Only 20% is promotional meaning that is when you are pushing your business BIG TIME

  • Be clear and to the point with your wording (many people are scrolling and skimming their feed- you want to grab their attention quickly)

    • Captions and wording is HUGE

    • People are scrollers; they are not stopping to read long posts, so make your point quickly and in a way that grabs their attention. 

  • Hashtags: use branded hashtags but then popular and trending tags for your business. This is how you are "found" in the social media world.

    • This is something that MANY people neglect because they don’t see the value in hashtags. 

    • THIS IS HUGE

    • You need to take time making sure that your hashtags match what you are selling, the audience you are trying to reach, and that it is a tag that people can easily find. These are ways to tag your posts and get them seen by SO MANY MORE PEOPLE.
